Peter T. Harrison, Vice-Chair, is Manager, Oil and Gas Investments, of the CN Investment Division (Montreal), which manages one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. Prior to joining the CN Investment Division in August 2009, he was Senior Vice-President of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. He is a Director of Rife Resources Ltd., Delphi Energy Corp., and Freehold Royalties Ltd. Mr. Harrison has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Russell J. Hiscock, Director, is former President & CEO of the CN Investment Division (Montreal). He has many years of equity portfolio management experience, in both the Canadian and International stock markets, with particular emphasis on the oil and gas sector. He is the Chair of the Board of Rife Resources Ltd. and a director of Valeura Energy Inc. Mr. Hiscock is a past Chairman of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC). He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He is a Certified Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Management Accountant.
William O. Ingram, Director, and former President & CEO from May 2009 to May 2013. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he was Executive Vice-President & COO and Vice-President, Production. Prior to joining Rife in 1984 he was with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. for 11 years. Mr. Ingram is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a current director of Rife Resources Ltd. and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Clifton Isings, Chair of the Board, is Chief Investment Officer and Vice-President - Investments of CN Investment Division, which manages one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. His responsibilities include public equities, real assets, liability hedging assets, and risk management. Mr. Isings was previously Manager of the International Equities. He is currently a member of CN's U.S. Subsidiaries Investment Committee, a member of the Investment Committee of the Canadian Olympics and also a member of the McGill University Pension Investment Committee.
Thomas J. Mullane, Director and President & CEO, joined Rife in 2012 and was appointed President and CEO in May 2013. He is also a director of Rife Resources Ltd. and Freehold Royalties Ltd. Mr. Mullane has over 30 years of industry experience and a broad background in exploitation and production engineering gathered from both domestic and international assignments. Prior to that he spent 12 years with Bonavista Energy Corporation in various roles including Senior Vice President from 2011 to 2012, Senior Vice President, Engineering from 2009 to 2011, and Vice President, Engineering from 2003 to 2009. Mr. Mullane graduated from the University of Alberta in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Marlene K. Puffer, Director, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the CN Investment Division. Dr. Puffer is accountable for all aspects of the investment management and organizational oversight of the CN Pension Trust Funds, one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. She is former vice-chair of the Board of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and past president of Women in Capital Markets. Marlene holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Applied Statistics and a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Economics from the University of Toronto. She holds a CFA charter and the ICD.D designation granted by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
David J. Sandmeyer, Director, and former President & CEO of Rife until his retirement in May 2009. Prior to joining Rife in 1982, he held senior positions with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. He is a director of Rife Resources Ltd. and Delphi Energy Corp. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
