Peter T. Harrison, Vice-Chair, is Manager, Oil and Gas Investments, of the CN Investment Division (Montreal), which manages one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. Prior to joining the CN Investment Division in August 2009, he was Senior Vice-President of Montrusco Bolton Investments Inc. He is a Director of Rife Resources Ltd., and Freehold Royalties Ltd. Mr. Harrison has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Russell J. Hiscock, Director, is former President & CEO of the CN Investment Division (Montreal). He has many years of equity portfolio management experience, in both the Canadian and International stock markets, with particular emphasis on the oil and gas sector. He is a director of Valeura Energy Inc. Mr. Hiscock is a past Chairman of the Pension Investment Association of Canada (PIAC). He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He is a Certified Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Management Accountant.
William O. Ingram, Director, and former President & CEO from May 2009 to May 2013. Prior to his appointment as CEO, he was Executive Vice-President & COO and Vice-President, Production. Prior to joining Rife in 1984 he was with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. for 11 years. Mr. Ingram is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a current director of Rife Resources Ltd. and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Clifton Isings,Chair of the Board, is Chief Investment Officer and Vice-President, CN Investment Division, which manages one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. His responsibilities include public equities, real assets, liability hedging assets, and risk management. He joined the Division in 1994 and was previously Manager, International Equities. He is currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Canadian Olympics, as well as, a member of the McGill University Pension Investment Committee.
Marlene K. Puffer, Director, is President and Chief Executive Officer of the CN Investment Division. Dr. Puffer is accountable for all aspects of the investment management and organizational oversight of the CN Pension Trust Funds, one of the largest corporate pension funds in Canada. She is former vice-chair of the Board of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and past president of Women in Capital Markets. Marlene holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Applied Statistics and an M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Economics from the University of Toronto. She holds a CFA charter and the ICD.D designation granted by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
David J. Sandmeyer, Director, and former President & CEO of Rife until his retirement in May 2009. Prior to joining Rife in 1982, he held senior positions with Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. He is a director of Rife Resources Ltd. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
David M. Spyker, Director, is President and Chief Executive Officer. He served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer from September 2020 to January 2021. Mr. Spyker joined Rife Resources Ltd. in November 2016 as Vice-President, Production and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in March 2019. Prior to, he held various roles at Anderson Exploration Ltd., Anderson Energy Ltd., and Anderson Energy Inc. Mr. Spyker has over 30 years of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
