Thomas J. Mullane, Director and President & CEO, joined Rife in 2012 and was appointed President and CEO in May 2013. He is a director of Rife Resources Ltd. and Freehold Royalties Ltd. He has over 30 years of industry experience and a broad background in exploitation and production engineering gathered from both domestic and international assignments. Prior to that he spent 12 years with Bonavista Energy Corporation in various roles including Senior Vice President from 2011 to 2012, Senior Vice President, Engineering from 2009 to 2011, and Vice President, Engineering from 2003 to 2009. Mr. Mullane graduated from the University of Alberta in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
David M. Spyker, Chief Operating Officer, joined Rife November 2016. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Spyker held various roles at Anderson Exploration Ltd., Anderson Energy Ltd., and Anderson Energy Inc. with the past eight years in the role of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Spyker holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Alan G. Withey, Interim Vice-President, Finance & CFO, joined Rife in March 2019. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Withey served as Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Triedent Exploration Corp. since 2014 and prior thereto as Chief Financial Officer of Trident Exploration Corp. since 2008. In addition, Mr. Withey's experience includes senior and executie finance roles at Ironhorse Oil and Gas Inc., Cheyenne Energy Inc., Devon Canada Corporation, Chauvco Resources International Ltd., and Pioneer Natural Resources Canada Inc. His experience spans over 25 years including over 15 years in executive positions in Canada. Mr. Withey received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Alberta) and a Certified Financial Planner Canada).
Robert E. Lamond, Vice-President, Asset Development, joined Rife in September 2017. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Lamond held various geoscience and managerial roles at Murphy Oil, Shell Canada, and Imperial Oil, with the past three years in the role of General Manager, Geoscience at Murphy Oil. Mr. Lamond holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Queen's University and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Michael J. Stone, Vice-President, Land, joined Rife in 2009 as Manager, Land Negotiations and Business Development. Mr. Stone was appointed Vice-President, Land in March 2010. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Stone was Vice-President, Land with Real Resources Ltd. Mr. Stone holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen (CAPL).
